  • There are different types of prosthodontics including metal-backed ceramics (porcelain), metal-free ceramics (porcelain) and laminate ceramics.
  • Fixed Prosthodontics: In the classical and modern methods used in fixed prosthodontics, the durability of minerals is utilized to make the infrastructure and the aesthetics of ceramic are used to make the upper part. Although this method is still in use, fixed prosthodontics applications, which can mimic the natural appearance via a wide range of materials, have been added to clinical solutions in order to meet the increasing aesthetic needs.
  • The bridge is: It is a fixed dental filling (fixed dental prosthesis) used to replace lost teeth (or multiple teeth) by permanently connecting artificial teeth to adjacent teeth or dental implants.
